© 20 17 , Slide Sledge, LLC 21 4. How To Use the Slide Sledge ™ Multi-Head ™ Hammer 1. Select the proper driver adapter and attach to the plunger of the Slide Sledge ™ Multi-Head ™ 2. Select the proper race, bearing, seal, or bushing driver plate and attach it to the adapter using the bolt or nut provided. Refer to the original equipment manufacturers’ guidelines and recommended sizes of driver plates for proper installation. 3. Insert bearing, race, seal, or bushing into cylinder. Align the driver plate with the bearing, race, seal or bushing. 4. Draw back on the drive bar and thrust the drive bar forward repeatedly until the bearing, race, seal or bushing is seated at the proper depth.
